Long grass cape. Around the neck the grass is woven in a light and dark checkered pattern. The rest of the grass is woven and knotted to form two main layers of thick short overlapping fringes.There are two sets of braided ties; around the neck and middle.

Cantonese Opera CapeN1.631 a

Light pink cape (part a) with a large collar and centre opening with frog closures and embroidered ties. The collar has peony and butterfly motifs in silver on blue ground with turquoise and orange trim. The front and back have peacock, chrysanthemum and prunus on light pink ground. The border around the edges has bamboo and chrysanthemum motifs on blue ground with turquoise trim. There are tin reflectors, green glass eyes and white fur on the front and back. The inside lining is white cotton with a blue circular pattern.

Orange damask cape. The cape has a rounded neck, wide sleeves, side slits and side opening with brass frog closures. The damask is woven with large roundels enclosing two dragon motifs. The borders around the neck, sleeves and side opening have a blue and white prunus motif on black ground edged with white floral trim. The inside is unlined.

Cape in a shiny bright blue fabric with small silver ovoid pattern all over. Semi-circular with triangle where the cape is sewn at chest. Five ties or flaps that hang down from the bottom edge, and two more ties where it closes at chest. Interior lined with a light green.

Black velvet cape with a hood and long sleeves. Front opening secures at neck with a frog closure; shoulders are padded. Interior of cape is lined with silk-like material; inner pocket along left side. Coast Salish-style velvet applique designs on pocket, cuffs, sleeves and on back of cape; all done in red. Beaded and metal fringe on sleeves, around hood and on back of cape; attachments consist of feathers with dark blue beads. Tag stitched next to inner pocket.

Natural coloured cotton cape. The front opening, hem and cuffs are decorated with black machine made geometric designs and feather-like plant motifs. They are also edged in a deep purple-red plaiting. Two black vertical lines are stitched on either side of a seam, with colourful repeating diamond stitching over a portion of the seam near the top in yellow, bright pink, dark purple, light grey-green and burgundy silk thread. Small deep purple-red pompoms line the neckline, and there is one at each cuff seam and side slit. Small multicoloured tassels with small white beads hang from the front opening, three on each side. The neck, cuffs, front opening and bottom edge are lined with a burgundy fabric. On the back, below the neck, is an embroidered rectangular area, coloured dark reddish-pink and blue.

Devil Costume Cape3289/3 a

Luzbel cape of black velvet, heavily decorated with sequins. The cape is semi-circular with a collar and ties at the neck. The collar is decorated with 'LUZBEL' in light yellow sequins, with star-shaped sequins scattered around the text. The rounded edge is lined with a short gold fringe. The sequin design features a large light blue dragon, facing left, with a skull in its claws and a pile of skulls wrapped by its tail. The dragon has red and gold horns, gold talons, and silver fangs. Large silver holographic discs decorate the space around the dragon. Lined with shiny red fabric.

An irregular shaped mat of cedar bark with a fringe on one end and several decorative bands woven round the edge and in three bands down the central portion of the square- shaped section. The mat is composed of a double layer of woven cedar bark,and has a large square section with two rectangular panels extending from the upper and lower edges with a gap in between. The rectangular panels are open at both sides and could form loops, they not attached to the square section but are an integralpart of weave.; Good
