A) A plaster cast model of a wooden comb from the Victoria Museum, B.C. The comb has a face carved onto it with a hooked nose, possibly an eagle. The cast has been stained brown. B) A plaster cast of a bear head side view with a small figure on its head.The head is on what appears to be a broken stick. Light brown colour.; Good
A rectangular comb with teeth about half the length of the whole. Five teeth are extant, a sixth, middle tooth, has broken off. The other end is slightly thicker with a narrow ridge between it and the main body and narrows to a broad, rounded tip. (A few strands of short, curly hair remain in the teeth.)
Concave bamboo comb with ten long teeth and rounded edges on the handle. On the outside a shallow ridge marks the handle, which is a tan colour, and the teeth which are a darker, ruddy-brown, having had the outer layer of the bamboo shaved off. The inner layers have also been shaved off of the teeth. Marks of manufacture are extant.
A rectangular comb with eight teeth about half of its length. The roughly carved shaft has rounded edges. A few short, curly hairs remain at the base of a few teeth.
