Round container (part a) with three large white coloured flowers on lid (part b). Two flower images are of the inside of the flower and one flower image is of its back. Green coloured stems and leaves are painted on the side of the container. Underside of container has two Japanese characters near the side.

Black coloured double-sided oval-shaped container (part a) with lid (part b). Branch-like handle that splits down the middle to attach to both sides of the container and lid. Raised branch and floral designs cascade down one side of the entire object from the largest branch.

Tobacco Container1273/3

Dark brown-red rectangular-shaped container with fibre cording, globular bead, and dark red wooden toggle. Container is in two parts and connected together by fibre cording. The larger part of the container lifts up from the smaller bottom piece. Both pieces are elaborately carved with geometric designs. The top and bottom piece are edged with a protruding scalloped rim and decorated with punctured holes. The round toggle has two animal figures facing each other and are holding the cord in their teeth.

Container with two flat circular faces and rounded walls between them; neck is narrow and flared; a stopper (part b) fits into neck and has a central knob. Bottle is decorated with floral designs, the two faces are similar and the two sides are similar; petal decoration around neck; geometric pattern below lip. Lid is decorated with flower with knob at centre.

Container1060/7

Carved container of wood with a hinged lid. The bottom section is in the shape of a canoe and rests on a base of two horizontal wooden bars; interior is hollowed out. Lid is carved in the form of a grouse; on one wing is a hinge that attaches the lid to the base and on the other is a hook clasp to hold the container shut. A small metal handle is attached to the middle of the bird's back. Lettering on the clasp side reads "Indian Dance Rattle" in black ink.

Vase-shaped water container covered in clay with bulb-shaped bottom and cylindrical neck. Red pigment band at bottom with triangular design above, also in red, on a black ground. The design is bordered by white glass beads; bamboo forms neck, and coconut shell forms base. Adhesive label on bottom.

Coconut shell container has bulb shape with an opening at its peak, and has a band of four parallel, horizontal lines with scallops below the band. Container has three darker ridges extending up the sides from the bottom centre. Leaf has been rolled into a cone to form stopper (part b).
