Across from and above Lytton, B.C.* Fide donor GTE: The core of a stock piece of a bluish grey color showing three cutting faces and one face with grooves and a broken ridge from which a section has been wedged off. Found on an old village site near a small creek emptying into the Fraser across and above Lytton, B.C. *Information is from the original accession ledger.

Stock piece of white and green. Across from and above Lytton, B.C.* Fide donor GTE: Stock piece which shows evidence of having been worn by water. It is of a whitish color showing veins of bright green. It was found on an old living site on the north bank of the Fraser River across and a few miles above Lytton. There are cutting grooves and a broken ridge running lengthwise on two faces where two sections have been cut off for implements. Light green with smooth weathered exterior; saw marks run near length of object: smooth cut scars with rough seam down middle. Beginning of cut present (long groove), running parallel to completed cuts. *Information is from the original accession ledger.

Stock piece of water worn boulder.* Fide donor GTE: Stock piece, a water worn boulder. Dug up near Lytton B.C. On one face it shows where four sections have been sawed and wedged off for the making of implements. Jade boulder cut in grooves and faces.* Fide donor GTE: Smaller jade boulder from which a section had been sawed off for a chisel. Boulders large and small of jade serpentine and other hard fine grained, tough material, generally greenish in color, are found upon old village sites and camping grounds, grooved on one or both surfaces, cut in two, or cut in a number of faces, with grooves between, and thin broken ridges. These latter indicate where sections were sawed off with the coarse silicious sandstone saws or knives in order to obtain suitable pieces for chisels, celts and adzes. *Information is from the original accession ledger.

Jade boulder cut in grooves and faces.* Fide donor GTE: Large jade boulder from which a section has been cut and two shallow grooves have been commenced. Boulders large and small of jade serpentine and other hard fine grained, tough material, generally greenish in color, are found upon old village sites and camping grounds, grooved on one or both surfaces, cut in two, or cut in a number of faces, with grooves between, and thin broken ridges. These latter indicate where sections were sawed off with the coarse silicious sandstone saws or knives in order to obtain suitable pieces for chisels, celts and adzes. Remarks: Jade or nephrite cobble with sections removed; additional sawmark on adjacent surface, parallel to competed cuts.
