Large ceramic cup with handle. Body is round, bulbous at bottom and narrowing toward the shoulder. Rim flares out slightly and a handle spans from its edge to the body’s bottom. Foot is short, inset, and round. Designs have been incised onto the shoulder, in twist and pine needle patterns. Cup has a glossy shine, and is glazed blue at top, fading to green on the shoulder and orange on the body to the foot. Interior is uniformly blue.

Polychrome cup with flared rim and a somewhat flat base. Painted band of cross-hatched squares in checker-board pattern of black on cream except for one extra diagonal of three squares that are cross-hatched in orange-brown. Red-brown band at rim and orange-brown base. Polished surface. Complete.
