Painted gourd dish. Dish is light with a very thin wall, oblong in shape, with a slightly concave area at the shoulder on one side. From a rounded bottom the dish flares toward the rim. Vessel is painted a shiny black on both interior and exterior, with an incised decoration in a wide strip around the rim. Pattern is of sets of concentric triangles facing each other on the long edge, each with a large dot in the corner. The decoration is unpainted, and left a raw light brown.

Basket Form Dish3099/20

Speckled basket-shaped stoneware container. Walls slant upwards from wide flat base to a rounded square opening with a thin folded handle. Handle and rim are grey speckled with green. Inside walls are blue speckled brown, and outside walls are various shades of brown over a grey background. Maker's mark on side near base.

Large tenmoku stoneware handled dish. Dish is a rounded rectangle with feet formed by a slightly arched base. Large loops on either end form handles. Outside is black speckled with brown, and inside is grey speckled with red around three upper walls. Maker's mark stamped on side near base.
