A hand made oval lace doily. The main concentric abstract design is consisting of a central six-petalled flower, surrounded by a band of two rows of crocheted holes, surrounded by an open lace design, surrounded by another band of two rows of crocheted holes, and six inward facing butterflies with an open lace design of squares between the butterflies, and a twenty-scalloped design around the outer perimeter edge.

The main concentric abstract design is consisting of a central eight-petalled flower motif, surrounded by a scalloped design that looks like eight petals, surrounded by a narrow band of two roles of crocheted holes, surrounded by an airy design of squares, surrounded by another narrow band of two rows of crocheted holes, surrounded by a scalloped edge of twenty-four petal-like scallops forming the outer perimeter.

Lace Doily1712/14

A hand made circular lace doily. A solid piece of commercially woven cloth forms the inner circle. A hand crocheted lace band containing two kinds of flowers alternating, and surrounding the central cloth which is bordered by a crocheted band. An airy outer scallop design forms the outer rim. One of the flower designs is a six-petalled flower while the other flower design is only on the top side of the doily and is a four petalled-fllower with a leaf(?) stretching to each side of the flower.

The main concentric abstract design is consisting of a central eight petalled flower, surrounded by a narrow band, surrounded by a very airy abstract design, surrounded by a solid band made of ten half circles, each end of which leads to a six-petalled flower; ten of these six-petalled flowers of which are contained in scalloped protuberances, which form the outer rim, each of these protuberances has seven scallops surrounding each flower.

A hand made circular lace doily. The main concentric abstract design is consisting of a two groups of flowers of an identical design near the outer edge and facing each other at two opposite sides. The other sides are filled with two identical groups of flowers that go all the way to the outer edge of the doily. These two outer designs are linked on the periphery of the doily by a narrower leaf and flowers design.
