Rattan ? fan covered in small beads and edged with blue and yellow silk fabric. The fan has a semi-circular body with a curved indentation at the back to form a rectangular shaped stem that attaches to a long cylindrical shaped, wooden handle. The handle is painted red and green. The centre of the fan has a multi-coloured bead plant motif in with dark green, orange, yellow, navy and pink on a white background. Around the outer edge are dark green, white and red stripes. The back of the fan is covered in dark pink, cotton cloth. The back has a small rectangular adhesive tag that reads ‘Made in India’.

Around the outer edge of the fan are multi-coloured birds followed by stripes. The centre holds a large plant surrounded by peacocks and lions. The handle is decorated with multi-coloured stripes. The back of the fan is covered in pink, cotton cloth.

Fully beaded u-shaped fan over woven rattan or grass (?). Birds and bushes in blue, yellow, red, green, and orange on white background, multi-coloured handle and looped fringe at bottom. Reverse side is pink fabric.

The fan has thin black-brown feathers and a decorated handle. The handle is made from a piece of wood doubled over and covered in a thick black substance, possibly resin. Pushed into the black substance are many teardrop-shaped gray seeds. There is one large blue bead among the seeds.

A closing fan with ten ribs of black tortoise shell each having a stylized panel motif in gold, red, and white on a pink-orange background that has an elaborate lacey effect. The rotate-able handle is made of silver.

A shield-shaped fan made of cardboard with a heavy rolled edge of fabric supported by a wood socket and slat running up the centre back. The concave front has a main design consisting of a bird facing to its right on a peony tree among prunus motifs with turquoise, blue, black, pink, mauve, grey, and pale green bordered by tin reflectors, mirrors, on an ivory-coloured background. The top of the bird's head is blue, and the middle of its wings are purple. A golden bat is at the base with an attached deep pink tassel. The convex back has a printed rose design, 18th century style, on cotton.

A closing fan with twenty-five inner ribs of ivory, interconnected with a white ribbon, each having abstract designs cut-out with Chinese symbols? The two parent ribs have a floral design cut-out. There is a metal loop with rivets and a white cord tassel.

Cream-coloured triangular paper fan with a wooden handle attached at the base. Fan has a waffle texture, silver border, abstracted imagery of birds flying over grasses, a two-character stamp in the upper left corner, and a cut-out section near the base that reveals the thin wooden ribbing.
