Standing wood figure, (ibeji) with headdress, on circular base. Nude female stands upright with arms connected to waist. Flat stomach below pointed breasts. Has pronounced belly button, buttocks and genitalia. Above genitalia triangles are carved. Figure wearing necklace with triangle pendant. Triangle has diamond pattern and is carved in high relief, hanging below neck on back. Eyes have thick lashes and a nail in their centre. Three vertical lines carved underneath each eye. Four horizontal lines carved next to open mouth. Ears flat against head. Tall cone-shaped headdress circled with horizontal lines and split into four sections with vertical bands. Bands at the front and back have triangles carved into them, bands on left and right are plain lines. Circular pedestal has an alternating triangle pattern carved along sides.

Power figure (nkisi nkondi). Standing male figure (part a) with left arm down at side with hand positioned to hold something, his right arm raised with fingers curled to grasp a spear (part b). The figure has inset glass eyes with painted white pupils. The face is carved with an open mouth with bowed lips, a triangular nose, and large ears. The hair is striped black and orange-brown, and wrapped at the hairline with a plaited fabric band. The body is covered with rusted nails and small triangular metal blades. Strips of fabric are wound throughout the nails, with some bone fragments included. Attached to the chest and abdomen, one above the other, are two rectangular glass-front boxes containing plant fibres and other materials. The glass is covered by grey clay with inset small red beads, leaving a small circular area through which to view its contents, and is wrapped in twine. The figure stands on a rounded rectangular wood base with a large piece missing. The wooden spear has a cylindrical shaft and triangular tip, all carved from a single piece of wood.

Small carved figure riding a bicycle. Figure wears a colonial style outfit - jacket with badges, belted shorts with a low flat hat marked with a diamond on the side. Figure carries a canteen on their left hip, and two small envelope-style bags - one on their waist and one hanging down from their head. The bike has a robust frame, two closely spaced tires, and a high small handlebar. Figure has painted eyes. Rounded base has been broken.

Fertility Figure3326/23

Fertility figure (akuaba) with a flat, disc-shaped head sitting on a long cylindrical neck that slightly curves forward. The lower rounded portion of the face has small horizontal oval eyes with a slit across the middle, two horizontal lines on each cheek, and a small smiling mouth. The raised oval forehead extends down into a long vertical nose and arched brow ridge. The upper edge has a raised arch. The abstract conical arms mimic the shape of the small pointed breasts. The lower half of the body is cylindrical, with an inward bend on the lower back, ending with an anvil-shaped base.
