Rectangular Salish style weaving with a dark brown geometric pattern in stepped diamond design and four grey-brown triangles at the edges. One end has a woven cord sewn along its length, ending in short tassels.

Beadwork Hanging527/10

Heart-shaped piece of hide with multi-coloured beadwork stitched to front. Backed with pink floral damask. Writing in beadwork on front says "Mrs. Lucey 1953". Designs are of hearts and flowers. Orange and white scalloped beading around the edges.

Square brown hanging with two seams which are separated a short distance from the top, dividing the hanging into three panels. Two yellow ties are at the end of each closed seam. Three rows of writing across all panels, one in brown and two in white in a form that looks like resist-dyed. Below is a row of large writing and pots in brown, and (resist-dyed ?) white. Bottom row of white writing.

Rectangular felt panel with figurative felt applique in two sections. Upper portion consists of eight birds on purple ground; two birds each are blue, brown, orange and black. Lower portion has two separate scenes, both on white ground: men with dogs hunting a polar bear underneath three musk oxen and a woman giving birth near the bottom of the panel. Green and pink stitching around the border.

Red silk hanging with gold embroidery on a black bamboo roller frame. In the centre is a large character surrounded by floral motifs and a scalloped border. Other motifs include peacock, floral and characters accented with turquoise, blue, purple and pink. There is a gold tendril border around the edges with peony motifs in the corners. The backside is unlined.

Wall Hanging1459/8

Cream silk hanging on a carved wooden frame. In the centre is a large panel with a garden scene surrounding two figures in a building. Around the rectangular panel is cream applique trim and a wide border with large and small roundels on a geometric background. In the roundels are dragon and lion motifs. The wooden frames at either end are carved with bamboo and prunus motifs. On the upper frame are two metal step fret hooks. The backside is lined with rose damask silk.

Green hanging with appliqué and embroidery. The hanging has red appliqué borders that form eight rectangles on the front. Within the top rectangle are three red appliqué circles; in the centre is writing in Chinese characters; in the bottom rectangles are floral, frog and crab motifs. The back is lined with white cotton.

Two hangings (part a-b) with multiple panels. There are three solid panels interspaced with openwork panels. The solid panels are green with butterfly, floral motif; cream with a fruit motif; and blue with dragon, phoenix, sun motifs. The openwork panels are shaped as bat and coin; fruit; and cloud with an endless knot motif. There are beads between the solid and openwork panels. Hanging from the bottom is a green tassel. The back is lined with purple silk damask with a floral and scroll motif.

Wall Hanging1371/1

Large rectangular hanging with embroidery. In the centre is a red bridge flanked by pine trees. Surrounding the centre scene as a border are three gold dragons on a dark blue ground with white cloud motifs. Two dragons curl up the sides and top, meeting in the centre at a large gold pearl. The third dragon curls along the bottom. Parts of the dragons, like the eyes and teeth, are padded. Across the top edge is a turquoise band with large metal rings for hanging. Within the band are leather and paper backings for strength. The back lining is green cotton with a cream pattern or fox, tree and leaf motifs.
