A pink leaf-like figure is central to the design. Outlining the middle are repeating light green stitched lines, and encircling the whole design are yellow lines in a zigzag pattern.

The bottom of the hat has a black brim, while the interior is lined with a red cotton fabric. Fine red, yellow and white embroidered stitches run vertically along the seams from the brim crossing at the crown, and also run horizontally along the brim.

The bottom of the hat has a black velvet brim and the exterior is a bright turquoise colour with subtle floral shapes interlaced in the fabric. The interior is lined with a red cotton fibre. The sides of the hat are decorated with a small black and white embroidered floral design, and the brim is lined with linear figures in a similar style.

The upper sides of the hat are decorated with various coloured flower-shaped sequins sewn on to underlying paper. Small orange beads radiate from the paper and end with a small circular silver sequin. The interior of the brim is lined with a black cotton fabric.

Sides and flap are decorated with fine silk embroidery in a spiral and geometric pattern. Crown is a light tan cotton fabric. Interior is lined with a red floral silk.
