Wolf headdress, or mask, with long muzzle, prominent nostrils, pointed ears, and bared teeth. Cardboard under lower jaw. Painted black with red and white inner ears, black eyebrows, green around the eyes, red nostrils, green lips, and white teeth the areas of colour are divided with white borders. Green cord attached at back.

Frontlet HeaddressA3838

Wooden frontlet attached to a head ring. Carved animal on frontlet depicts a beaver holding a stick in its mouth with both hands; painted pink, red and black; black square recesses surround the figure. Cloth head ring is attached to the back of the frontlet with buttons sewn around the outside.

Thunderbird HeaddressA4500

Carved thunderbird headdress with a pronounced beak, recessed eye sockets and a horn on the mask's right side that has a curled tip. Carved tail panel attaches to top of head, and wing panels attach to the sides. The left side panel and horn were replaced using cedar. Painted in green, yellow, black, red and white.

Mask made from cut out planks of wood formed in a triangular-like shape with flat sides, a thin adjoining nose piece and a rectangular shaped piece of wood at the back. Detailed in blue and orange Northwest Coast stylized forms is a wolf with rectangular shaped nostrils, bared teeth and large eyes. The mouth and eyes are inlaid with pieces of mirrored glass as well as other small sections. Protruding from the top edge of the headdress are numerous thin sections of baleen creating a fringe. The inside has two thin wooden strips attached to two larger bars to create a frame for the head. Covering the frame is a piece of cotton fabric. Fibre ties hang from the bottom edge. (Similar to A9354).
