Painted grouse headdress with an attached protruding beak and a large opening under the beak. To either side of the opening are four carved sections, painted green, brown, white and red. The cheek area is green with three half circles along each side. The beak is brown. The eyes are white with round black centres and the area surrounding the eyes is red with a line of white dots. Two black arches extend over the eyes. There is a white band with red half circles and black dots at the top. Twigs visible above the headdress are attached to the back of the mask with fibre and wire. (Similar to A8100).

Humanistic painted wooden headdress. The headdress is white with a carved black head covering and features painted on in various colours. The thick frowning lips are red. The protruding nose with the tip nailed on is blue. The area surrounding the eyes and pointed designs on the cheeks are also blue. The eyes are white ovals outlined in black with round black centres. The eyebrows are also black. On either side of the black head covering, protruding metal discs have been nailed near the top.

Wood carved headdress in form of an eagle's head with the tip of the beak carved out. Painted are a yellow beak with a red mouth and nostril. The eyes are inlaid with circular mirrors and surrounded by a piece of circular, scalloped edged metal. Around the eyes is red, the face is green with red and yellow feather detailing. Nailed to the black brow is a finely beaded cloth. The inside has a piece of wood for support; nailed to the wood is a piece of leather. The right outside edge has remnants of a cotton cloth.

Painted owl headdress with a protruding beak. The mask is natural wood with features and designs painted on. The beak, forehead and area surrounding the eyes is green. The eyebrows are black. The cheeks, eyelids and mouth are orange. Silver is used to detail the eyes, nostrils, checks and forehead. Red designs including half circles are on either side of the headdress. Above the owl's face is a carved headdress featuring orange and green triangles and silver circles. Baleen is attached to the back of the mask and is visible above the headdress. A brown textile, red and printed strands are also attached to the back of the headdress creating a hat-like structure. (Similar to A7859).

Mask made from cut out planks of wood formed in a rectangular-like shape with flat sides, an adjoining nose piece and two cylindrical shaped pieces of wood at the back. Detailed in red, black and green Northwest Coast stylized forms with rectangular shaped ears, bared teeth and large eyes. Hanging from the back bar are short, thin strips of cedar bark. (Similar to A4495).

Headdress made from a hide headband with various articles attached to it. The hide band--which is covered in several shades of brown fur--has five pointed protrusions: three at the front and two at the back. The three protrusions at the front of the band have spherical, halved gourds sewn onto them; the central protrusion features a plume of black, brown and blue feathers attached behind the gourd. A fringe of halved brown seeds dangles from the bottom rim of the headband.
