Summer Kimono698/1

White yukata (浴衣) kimono with wide sleeve panels and a dyed grey pattern. The pattern is a wide, grey, horizontal band around the middle, with wavy lines and two rows of diamonds in white. The inside is unlined.

Red damask uchikake (打掛) with embroidery. The damask is woven containing a geometric pattern with floral and leaf motifs. The neck and centre opening are edged with a wide red band. The sleeves are short with hanging panels and an opening under the arms. The front and back have crane, pink tree, prunus, bamboo, bridge and tortoise motifs in gold, white, brown, gray and green on red ground. It has five family crests or kamon (家紋) in the shape of a butterfly known as ageha-chō (揚羽蝶). The bottom hem is padded with cotton known as fuki (袘). The inner lining is red silk.

Deep purple kimono with designs on the lower front in the style of Iro tomesode (色留袖). The neck and centre opening are edged with a deep purple band. The sleeves are short with hanging panels and an opening under the arms. There are white crests on the upper front, back and back of both sleeves. The designs on the lower front have pine tree, floral and screen motifs in green, blue, cream, white and orange. It has five family crests or kamon (家紋) in the shape of ivy leaf known as tsuta (蔦). The bottom hem is padded with cotton. The upper lining is cream silk.

Grey silk tsukesage (付け下げ) with lower floral pattern. The neck and centre opening are edged with a wide patterned band. The sleeves are short with hanging panels and an opening under the arms. The pattern has flower and line motifs in blue and white along the bottom hem and on the back of the sleeves. There is one family crest or kamon (家紋) in the shape of cherry blossoms known as kage zakura (陰山桜) embroidered on the back, below the collar. White coloured thread is used to make stitch marks from the bottom hem half way up the kimono and again on upper collar. The inner lining is cream silk and stops short of the bottom hem.

Cream silk komon (小紋) with a purple stripe pattern. The neck and centre opening are edged with a wide patterned band. The sleeves are short with hanging panels and an opening under the arms. The pattern has vertical stripes with pointed and beveled ends in light and dark purple. The neck band is lined with cream striped silk and four strings have been stitched to create loops on the inner back.

The damask is woven containing a linear motif. The pattern has flower, leaf and cloud motifs in orange, purple, white, red, gold, blue and green on light green ground. The neck band is lined with cream striped silk and two strings have been stitched to create loops on the inner back.
