The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Sheet metal with fragments
Shotgun shell
Metal Object; Field Specimen Inventory notes object as possible nail.
Corroded metal fragments from possible can lid. No Field Forms found for the artifact. 4/29/97, C.Tyler
2 square nails, 2 round nails, a broken square nail, and a piece of nail that is indistinquishable. 2 bullet shells. Found in a paper level bag labelled "Metal, sj186, level bag sq. A-1". The artifacts in this level bag are assumed to be associated with the Burroughs 1949 excavation, based on the site designations on the bag, as well as the date of the excavation. Many similar level bags were found in the Archaeology Lab in 1997-1998. There is no level bag list in the documents (see Burke Archives) from Burroughs' excavation, and the level bags were not numbered. As a result, we have assigned each level bag a number based on the site number. L.Phillips, 4/28/98
