Discs are strung on a fibre cord alternating dark brown and white with a knot mid-strand. Coconut and coral smoothed and drilled for stringing.

Shells are placed overlapping one another all along one of the flat sides. Shells are tied onto a braided bark core.

Six long thin pieces of twisted iron known as a kissi pennies (parts a-f). Each is shaped like a pick on one end and a horizontal spade on the other, with a thin, twirled metal stick between. The second piece (part b) is the longest and is slightly longer than the first piece (part a). The third piece (part c) is the shortest. The fourth piece (part d) is larger than the third piece (part c). The last two pieces (parts e-f) are in between the first piece (part a) and the fourth piece (part d) in size length; however, the last piece (part f) has a larger spade than the fifth piece (part e).

A small circular metal coin with a circular hole in the centre. Chinese characters and trigrams are in relief on one side, with characters in relief on the other side.

Four manillas. C-shaped, round metal bands, with flattened, circular ends. Parts a-b are both greenish, but part a is slightly bigger than part b. Parts c-d are both brown, but part c is slightly smaller than part d.
