Forest scene at night with several groups of people surrounding a central tree. The upper group wear loin cloths and carry spears and swords. The bottom groups are mainly clothed in shirts, skirts and shorts, one carrying a drum, another a flag, yet another with a sacrificial pig in front of a fire. The central tree has bright yellow and orange leaves and a thick trunk, from which crawls a man. Two larger trees flank it, holding both dark and light green and leaves.

Painting depicting a tent treatment centre and medical operations. The scene is of a temporary outdoor cholera hospital made up of many small tents, metal sheds, and a large circular white tent in the centre of the image. People walk amongst the tents, many headed for the central structure called the “Centre Traitment Cholera". A Red Cross ambulance unloads a man and a crowd waits patiently. The majority of the people are smiling. In the background are several tall trees, shorter palm trees, a multitude of flowers, houses with people going about their daily activities, and a dark blue and purple sky.

A Myth of the Ancestral Being, Barama2940/1

Bark painting on a roughly rectangular piece of slightly warped reddish-brown bark. The top is entirely covered with the painted image in yellow, black and white on a dark red ground. The image is divided into six panels. The upper centre panel shows two black possums on either side of the trunk of a tree. The four corner panels each show a pair of vertical yellow and black possums. The bottom centre panel shows two women facing a tree trunk. Above the upper panels is a horizontal panel of wavy lines. The upper and lower ends each finish with a short black band. The reverse is plain bark.

Tigua Painting2903/52

Large Tigua painting depicting Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The canvas itself is formed by a piece of skin stretched and nailed over a wooden frame. The back and outer sides of the frame are unpainted save for some drips of paint on the sides of the frame. At the top of the image there is a representation of god painted from the waist up. His torso, head and arms are suspended in the blue and white streaked sky. He has pink skin, black hair and a black mustache and beard. He wears a white, brown, orange and black outfit. There is a yellow substance or force being released downwards from his left hand. God looks down upon Adam and Eve in the lower right corner of the painting at the moment that Eve accepts an apple from the serpent. The green serpent is coiled around the brown trunk of an apple tree, left of Eve. Adam sits on a grey rock left of the tree with a white baby llama in his lap. Adam and Eve are both naked save for white bands of fabric around their waists. An orange lion with a brown mane stands in between the two and faces Adam, who gestures with his right hand. The image also depicts a vast landscape with various peaks and valleys and a waterfall flowing downwards from the upper left corner towards the middle of the painting. There are many varieties of trees painted in various shades of green, brown and yellow and many different animals scattered throughout the landscape.

Dark painting of a Saint in a shoemaker’s shop. At the top of the image, the Saint sits behind a table against a dark red background. He is depicted from the waist up and is the largest figure in the image. He wears a brown hat with gold accents, an orange cape with gold embroidery and a draped brown and yellow-white robe with yellow and red at the waist. There is a yellow halo around the man’s head. He has long brown hair, a brown mustache and beard and holds a black staff in his right hand. His left hand gestures with the index and middle finger upraised. Hanging from the upper right and left corners are bright red curtains that are tied back. Under each curtain, there is a man standing with his hands clasped in prayer. The men wear blue swashbuckler-style hats with gold trim; red tunics with yellow-white, black and gold trim; short blue pants; and black shoes with gold accents. The Saint is seated behind a table covered by a green and gold tablecloth. There are five pairs of black and gold boots and two pairs of horseshoes on top of the table. Also, there is a flat orange object that is shaped like a rectangle with two triangles attached to one of its long sides. In front of the table, in the foreground, five small men cobble shoes in various stages. All of the cobblers wear black wide-brimmed hats, yellow-white button down shirts, red belts, black pants with gold stripes and black sandals. The cobbler in the middle has a halo around his head. The canvas is nailed to a wooden frame and then held within a larger wooden frame. On the back of the object, there is a piece of tape with a number written on it in pencil.
