A very long cylindrical hairpin made of brass with a dragon head at one end. Long cylinder tapers to a point at the end opposite the dragon head. Head is much larger than the diameter of the pin and has many added details such as scales behind the head, a forward-facing flat flame-like projection on top of the head, moulded eyes, a nose, a mouth, added whiskers, a small beard, and long trailing ear-like strands. Mouth, and side panels are inlaid with red enamel, and there is an empty round hole at the front of the mouth.
A flat hairpin made of gold-coloured metal tapering to an irregular point. A raised flower and an engraved stem decorate the pin. Above the flower, the pin widens into three discs, one above the other, each edged with a circle of tiny raised flowers. A small insect or flower shape is on the border between the discs. The top, and the bottom discs are inset with flat green stones while the middle disc is inset with a rounded red-orange stone. The uppermost green stone is incised with a curvilinear pattern. Chinese characters stamped on the back which is flat.

A hairpin consisting of a flared tube of silver tapering to a long slender point with a translucent pink stone (rose quartz) inserted into the open end. The stone has an elongated double-lobed globular shape with a simple curvilinear carving. The pin is indented into three lobes at about one-third of the distance from the stone.
Pair of metal, spoon-shaped pins with pointed shafts. The metal has a yellowish cast; bowl of both spoons has a simple repousse design of three arched lines repeated in reflective symmetry. The throat of the pin is decorated with reverse curve strips of metal soldered to each side. Twine joins the pins together and is attached through one loop of the reverse curve.
Long metal pin with a flattened point on one end and a circular flat head on the other. The shaft is round in cross-section, but not very straight--it has a number of bumps and bows along its length. Surface is pitted and powered with rust.
A tapering metal pin surmounted by a stylized animal head. There is a cleavage on the top of the head and a loop of cast metal at the back of the head. A mouth and nostrils are barely visible on the muzzle/beak. The metal is blackish in colour.
A conical metal shaft with a bulbous feline head. The head has rounded ears, incised circular eyes and a grimacing mouth with teeth and triangular fangs. There is a hole through the shaft 1 cm from the head. The gilded layer is particularly thick and distinct from the brown metal base.
A short slender shaft of metal, now somewhat bent with a flaring metal head placed about .5 cm from one end. Both ends are pointed and the shaft appears to have an open seam along its length.
