Cantonese Opera Prop1704/7

Decapitated head opera prop. Representation of a human head. Eyebrows are painted black, eyes are black and white, lips are red, and edge of throat is rimmed with red. A looped rod extends from the top of the head. It is wrapped with grey fibre. Black fibre is wrapped overtop of the grey fibre and hangs down at the sides. There is a hole on top of the head where the rod is attached.

Snake PropEdz1623

Snake made of cotton fabric wrapped around black stuffed tube. The head is bulbous and has two circular inked eyes. Twined rope is wrapped around the head and tail to hold fabric in place. The snake is slightly coiled around itself.
