Dewhurst 5/22/2006 From "Descriptive Catalogue of Petroglyph Prints for the University of Washington, from The Dalles Dam Resevoir, 1956." by Mark Hedden, located in the Archaeology Archives: Large and small elk, sheep, herons, standing men and column of horiztonal lines (vertebrae pattern?). Sheep's horns curved back. Elk (large)'s antlers go straight back and curved down, with long tines, seven, on each side. Hooves shown spread. Small elk's antlers are straight, three tines. Herons shown in profile with long legs, oval body, long neck with open mouths.

One with legs bent back, erect neck. Geometric figure- square w/2 flaring diagonals attached to upper corners; ireegular, downturning ovoid attached below. Suggests mouth intended with hooks or lip-plugs of some sort attached. Ovoid bisected by short vertical.
