The cotton cloth is white. The ink is black.

Khata, traditional ceremonial scarf. Garment is long and relatively thin, made of very fine off-white silk thread in a loose weave. Edges are rolled or reinforced. (No decoration.)

Wool scarf. Garment is of medium length and relatively wide, increasing in width slightly toward one end. Long fringe sits at both ends. Weave is tight and unvarying, with horizontal stripes in shades of brown interspersed with two thick lines of red, pink and black. The stripes continue into the fringe.

Decoration is split into three panels of roughly the same width, running horizontally: both outer areas are filled with alternating lines of brown and dark tan, while the central panel is red with tan diamonds filled with triangular motifs. A line of green and orange runs through the centre, and edging consists of stripes in green, yellow, purple and pink.

Lightweight cotton man's headscarf, in a lilac colour. The garment is nearly square, with three lines of embroidery set in from the edges, around all sides. Inside the lines at one corner sits a small design of flower and foliage. All embroidery is done in green, yellow and red. A light grey makers stamp sits on one corner.

Scarf is bright red with a floral print of red, pink and blue flowers, green foliage, and structural embellishment in gold, white and green. Two adjacent edges of the scarf are edged with red wool tied into a wide, decorative net from which hang long tassels.

Woven scarf. Thick panels on long sides are a dark purple, while centre is densely patterned with thick lines of various colours and diamond shaped, zigzag, and linear designs. Colours range from bright red to black, pink and light blue. Thin lines of blue and red run down the long sides closed to the edges. Short ends are finished with a fringe of tassels. Front can be differentiated from back by the presence of pulls in the centre design area, more complete patterning, and brighter colours.

Red textile edged in plaid. The small scarf is vibrant red with strips of bright plaid running along the vertical edges. The plaid pattern consists of thick red, yellow, and green stripes with thinner black and white stripes of colour that are criss-crossed over one another.
