Rectangular, hand-woven shawl made of fine hand spun silk and cotton mixed yarn, decorated with cotton threads woven into the natural colour ground. Border design repeated at both ends, is an open band of alternating figures: stylized humans one above the other in mirror image; and an elaborated geometric motif. Narrow stripes at borders. A small triangular motif covers ground at widely spaced intervals. Detailing in red and black.
Shawl made of woven red wool with three stripe groupings symmetrically arranged. The largest stripe is centred and has a middle band of geometric motifs flanked by graduated prismatic colours and narrow bands with tiny motifs. The lateral stripe groupings are identical with each having a middle band of geometric motifs flanked by red, orange, yellow and green stripes. The geometric designs include a six-part circle, a rayed diamond, diamonds with triangles appended, a reverse curve and a striated cross.
Heavy silk and cotton rectangular shawl with fringe on both ends. White lozenge pattern on a blue ground. The overall design is made by continuous weft pattern. Warp-faced plain overall weave with supplementary weft pattern.
Warp-faced plain weave shawle with continuous weft pattern laid into background wefts. Weft is dark blue and the warp alternates yellow and green silk resulting in a horizontal striped pattern. Geometric pattern stripes in white and dark blue in the continuous weft pattern laid in between the background weft. One green and one gold selvedge.
Rectangular green silk shawl with red and yellow geometric designs and green silk fringe at both ends. Warp is silk, weft is cotton and silk. Warp-faced plain weave overall with supplementary weft patterns created by continuous pattern wefts laid in with background wefts. Four alternating red and yellow stripes at each end. Patterns are in alternate blocks of similar dimensions. Yellow block has three rows of linear geometric design, the centre one is narrower than the two outer rows. Red block has two rows of elongated geometric designs.
Fine hand-woven shawl of silk and cotton fibres. Natural colour. Raw silk slub visible as dark specks throughout. Narrow end bands as borders are in lighter shade and may be cotton threads. Marked with stamp '67' plus a few illegible letters.
Shawl composed of off-white wool with a widely spaced black check with a band of woven multicoloured stripes near each end. Finished with a row of multicoloured crocheted circles and bands with an off-white fringe at each end.
Ikat dyed design on fine woven black cotton. Two bands at each end display weft ikat dyed geometric motif. These are offset by solid bands of red or green and a multistrand cotton in red, white, and yellow is interwoven in a checkered design. A tiny motif in white or red is embroidered at wide intervals on centre field. Ends have two rows of only warp threads.
Handspun and handwoven cotton plain weave (khaddar) in three rectangular panels of red-brown cloth sewn together. Geometric style pattern in red, green, white, and gold-coloured stitch embroidered on top. Black used as embroidered outline on ends. Three gold diagonal stripes span the central area, with the colour pattern mirroring the central span. The colouring alternates magenta-green and magenta-gold pyramids (mandiraan) with the pattern flipping by row. The roof of the windows alternate gold-green gold-white patterning.
Shawl composed of rectangular red striped cloth composed of two rectangles of cloth sewn together. The shawl has six patterned bands featuring geometric (six part circle, crosses, and diamonds) and bird motifs alternating with narrow bands with a diamond and 'x' motif, all on red with bands of blue, green red, and pink. The colours of the motifs and background are reversed on the opposite face.
