Shawl consisting of a rectangular piece of hand-woven cotton-silk blend. Off-white cloth with bright orange cotton embroidery thread used in brocade and straight stitch. Diamond motif brocade bands symmetrically flanked by straight stitch embroidery. Three rows of five orange diamonds placed in central area. Orange weft threads loosely carried along edging and tucked into the body of the shawl.

Rectangular cotton shawl with designs on one side; woven lozenge pattern with a chevron design along the top and bottom. Primarily white design on black background. There are four white spots in the middle of each diamond. Undecorated side is cream. Each end of shawl terminates in a short, knotted fringe.

Woven cotton warp ikat textile with multi-strand rolled cotton thread fringe. Two pieces sewn together lengthwise at centre with brown thread. Designs from each orange/red fringe end are duplicated to centre. Closest to the fringe is a bar of triangle-like shapes in brown on beige with orange/red and yellow detail. In between triangles are highly stylized standing figures. In the second section are 8 petaled beige flowers on brown with orange/red and yellow detail. Main sections from centre have general shapes of x's, stars (orange/red on beige on brown) and 4 ladder-like bars. Centre two rows of alternating orange/red and beige vague triangles on brown ground. Lengthwise border and wefts are brown. Fringe at edges brown over-dye on one edge onto fringe and on other edge orange/red over-dye on weaving from fringe. Braided brown and beige threads along edge of weaving at fringes.

Fragment of painted, plain weave cotton. The major motif is a frontal human with crescent shaped headdress. This figure is repeated in diagonally arranged squares. Adjacent diagonally stepped registers contain zigzags. A secondary motif of repeating profile birds occurs in a wide diagonal register between registers with zigzags. The original colours appear to have been red, blue and several shades of brown.

Rectangular green shawl with long fringe. The shawl has a subtle white zigzag and black linear pattern on green ground. The long sides are selvage. The shorter ends have a woven black and green piece ending in a long, knotted fringe.
