The wool is white. The thread is black.
Paisley wool shawl. Square of dark brown wool has a thick border of printed paisley motifs in gold, red, and blue. Two paisley tear-drop motifs are placed at opposing corners. The ends are left loose and fringed. Three small rectangles of black silk are hand stitched onto one edge of undersurface, at sides and centre.
Large, heavy shawl with needle work paisley pattern. The craftsmanship of the red, blue, green, black, yellow and ivory design is less fine in the wide border. In the centre is a circular area of plain black fabric onto which is emboridered the numbers 22 CO 37 in ivory coloured thread. Other numbers (23222 and 949) are embroidered near two different corners.
Shiny white shawl with embroidered roses in centre in pink, yellow, purple and green, two smaller arrangements on either side of centre, and two pink buds on the opposite edge. One pink rose and leaves on each end. White fringe at both ends. White fabric on reverse.
Long, rectangular shaped silk shawl with many geometric patterns in gold and bronze coloured metallic thread on dark purple and maroon ground. The centre of the piece is dark purple while the top and bottom border, along with the ends, is maroon.
