Pair of slipper-like shoes; black curvilinear designs appliquéd over teal brocade. Light blue fabric interior. Double band of leather piping protrudes from the bottom of the toe, curling up to attach to the top of the shoe, creating a curved bulge at the toes. Flat, stitched leather sole.

Flat, slipper shoe with closed toe and heel. The finely woven tubular upper is stitched to the woven thick squared toed sole. The shoe is shaped by a dart at the top, creating a v-shaped ramp. The top of the shoe is trimmed with a woven band of light red and a yellow line. The body is embroidered from heel to toe with three coloured lines, two brown and one green. Pair of men's shoes, slip-on style, with squared toes, and pointed tongues as well as heel backs. The uppers are cut from one piece of tan leather edged with narrow strips of tan leather and attached by thin green leather stitching. Separate triangular leather reinforcements at upper heels are also stitched with green leather. A thick sole is formed by glued layers of leather with extra layers forming the heel and half sole at the front of each shoe. Upper are glued and sewn with a thick strand of fibrous jute (?) string.

Pair of women's cowhide shoes (a-b) with soles made of multi-layered light brown leather sewn together. Pink dyed leather upper with multi-coloured cotton embroidery on toe area, in radiating V-shaped pattern. Leather edging is fastened by off-white stitches. A triangular piece of leather with one edge toothed is attached at the top edge of the upper. Multi-layered sole is glued.

A pair (parts a-b) of shoes for bound feet. The soles of each shoe are made of white cotton fabric, and the thick arch, and heel, in one piece, are of the same fabric over wood(?) lined with finer white fabric. The outer surface, except for the sole, is covered with silk. The lower part is made of light blue-green silk with embroidery consisting of multi-toned pink flowers, and butterflies. The upper part is made of red silk, trimmed with black silk, and multi-coloured silk braid. At the front, there is lattice pattern of pink silk. The body of the shoe has several layers of stiffened fabric.

Single multicoloured shoe. Sole: straw covered with cotton. Square wooden heel. Uppers: purple damask and orange damask, with a butterfly embroidered on the toe. Ribbon border sewn around toe; ribbon is white with green and red floral embroidery. Red binding. At heel, a black cotton cuff extends up the back of the ankle with a red ribbon on either side securing it to the uppers. White cotton lining with a printed red cherry pattern.
