Stand for a teacup. Cylindrical base with three repousse cartouches with floral designs, on background with faint floral designs above ring of Greek key design. Flared, fluted rim with eight sections, each with a repousse Buddhist symbol.
A red-brown lacquer stand with an elongated diamond shape. The flat top surface has a plain centre outlined with a diamond-shaped geometric design. The upper part has two concave floral designs surrounded by a diamond-shaped geometric design on both sides. The middle has a horizontal vertically grooved centre line. The lower part has landscape scenery with houses carved in relief all around. There are four legs which curl up with a decorative leaf, one at each corner.
Stand for a hat (1059/1). Hat fits closely on an upper wooden mould (part a) in the shape of a tapered cylinder that is hollowed on the inside to accommodate the top of a flat vertical wooden support (part b). Support is rounded at the top and set into a rectangular base of the same brown wood.
Black coloured stand with scalloped rod on back with two narrow curved feet. Perpendicular to the back rod, there is a shorter scalloped rod that attaches to the decorative front piece of the stand. It has a wide U-shaped curved top and has scrolled feet that curve inwards at the bottom. Stand is for plate (N1.359 a).
A dark grey metal wig stand that has a flat square base with a ring attached to one side edge of the rim. The base supports a funnel-like cone-shaped stand that is cylindrical around the bottom. The cone shape splays out on top and is covered by a bulbous curve of the same material. (Photo also shows the wig Edz1630.)
Dark green heagonal stone base with a beveled edge. Four white-yellow (bone?) prongs in a square formation are attached to the top of the base.
Cruet. Two white containers with flat base, straight luted sides, everted rims, joined by 3.5 cm. wide vertical section. Tall handle in shape of two intertwined eels or possibly dolphins, one red-purple, one yellow. Six relief heads of winged angels on ends, sides.
Black lacquered stand with a golden floral design painted on it. Stand is made of two roughly rectangular frame-shaped parts bolted together so that they open to create a stable footprint. A braided orange cord with tasseled ends is looped through four holes on the bottom and tied to keep the pieces from opening too far.
Oblong stand (part a) with two drawers (parts b and c), a lid (part d) and a rectangular box (part e). Scalloped perforated side panels with gold floral design form the legs on the stand (part a). Top of stand (part a) has pine tree and two gold cranes. Drawers (parts b and c) are side by side on one side and have metal pulls with a design similar to the top of the stand. One drawer contains a rectangular box (part e) with gold floral design on the lid (part d).
Stand made from the inside of a gourd carved in a geometric design of two interlocking oblongs with four square tips at each corner, one of which is missing. Centre is square with' v' inside loops. Incised with lines and a thin line of brown painted inside pattern following the design. Curves up at side (bottom of gourd). Very light weight.
