A short, wakizashi style sword with a wooden handle and sheath. Handle features black silk cords tied decoratively (tsuka-ito ) over a grey sharkskin covering and a pair of menuki (sword fittings), one on each side of the handle. Sheath has inlaid horn on a black ground. The guard has a prunus design.
Plain wooden sheath in two parts (parts c and d) bound with rope, red fibre and gauze-like cloth. Wooden handle (part b) sheathed in copper or brass and grip bound with string. Slightly curving blade (part a) stamped with anchor-like design.
The end of the dark brown, wooden handle has a large, leaf-like pattern to one side. The wooden handle is fitted into a scroll designed brass band. The blade is thin where it meets the handle, is bent and redirected upwards, and gets thicker towards the point.

A metal sword with a beaten metal blade (part a) which has a fuller that has three ridges, of which the central ridge extends longer than the outer ones. There are two crescent moon shapes near the middle of the blade on each side. Floral decorations beaten on hilt which has a pommel, grip, and cross-guard. The sheath (part b) is sewn and embossed with a geometric pattern cut on sheath leather which is dyed ochre red and pale green. Cotton thread gird with huge tassels in red, green, and yellow.
A metal sword with a male head finial that has bulging eyes and a head piece which wraps around at the end of the handle. Underneath the head, there is a pattern of two protruding, four grooved, two protruding, and four grooved horizontal ridges along the cylindrical handle itself. The blade is incised with geometric patterns consisting of quadrangles with cross hatch marks within, wave-like curls, and dots, as well as a floral pattern with leaves.

Wood handle has a rounded cross-guard, a small grip, and a rounded pommel with a pointed tip at the end and is covered with incised line and triangle decorations. Formerly gilt incised line and wave-like curve patterns on one side of the iron blade. The blade curves upward slightly with the half near the handle having a pattern of wave-like curves inward and points outward. Blade is pierced along the pointed half with an arrow at each end pointing toward the middle where there is a circle and an outward pointing triangle at the centre each in between them.
