Small dark red velveteen vest with sequins and beads. The vest has a centre front opening with red loops and ribbon closure. The bottom has a pointed, overlapping peblum. On the front, back centre and lower flaps are green sequin leaf motifs and a white sun motif with gold sequin centre. The inner lining is white cotton.

Vest fastening in the centre front with four silver coloured buttons, made of plum coloured silk satin with a pattern of flowers. On the front there is an inset pocket with an outside facing at each side, and on the left side above the pocket is a third, smaller pocket. The vest is lined with white fabric woven in an overall pattern of small leaves with a bolder pattern of larger leaves. Each silver button has a Chinese character on an embossed background. There is a double line of machine stitching along the lower edge, which curves downward to the centre front.

Child’s vest of fine white ramie, closing at the centre front with four shank buttons made of white plastic. There are two pockets applied to the outside of the vest near the lower edge, and a smaller one on the upper left side. The lower edge of the vest curves downwards to the centre front. The collar, front and bottom edges are finished in green edging. Openwork vest with a single back panel and two front panels made of lengths of rattan wrapped in rattan skin. Vest has a low neck at front and high inserts of curled rattan at back of neck, with shoulder extensions of loops of rattan. It is formed of parallel vertical lengths of rattan spaced 3 cm. apart with loops of rattan between them.
