A dark wood piece with a double back-to-back face on one end that has two triangular protrusions around the face and pointing upward. The stem of the handle has a horizontal triangular pattern all around surrounded by horizontal lines, four on the top and three on the bottom. Near the bottom, there is a circular rim with a loop at the end.

Dance Wand973/4 b

Long tubular stick with brown fibre tassel. There are vertical rows of triangular-shaped sections that alternate between the colours yellow and brown. There is a horizontal band of brown at the base of the stick. There are two holes in the stick near the tip where the fibre tassel connects to the wood.

A long metal piece with a bird on three long hollow conical pieces opening upward at the top with a ring below. Three-quarters of the way down, there is a small horseshoe-like object around the long metal piece just above four medium hollow conical pieces opening downward. Nearer to the bottom are four small hollow conical pieces opening downward.

Libation WandEd9.6

Libation-offering wand, known as ikupasuy in Ainu. Long, thin wooden piece that tapers to a squared-off point at one end and has rounded corners at the other. There is one oval-shaped sections near the end of the piece with cross-hatching designs inside. It is outlined with scroll-like designs that continue the length of the piece. There are three carved lines at each end.

Wand with marionette-like hardwood head (part a). Face is elongated with simple geometric design incised on the forehead and cheeks. Hair is braided. Eyes and one earring are metal. Long neck is perforated with five holes for attachment to wand, or staff (part b), which also has five holes in the end.
