The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

A large core scraper. Smooth light to medium grey cortex makes up the entirety of the thicker edge' spine. The belonging has a thicker handle that gradually tapers down to a thinner edge. The thin edge has a half bevelled appearance. The belonging's exposed surface is a medium grey with a fine grain. The dorsal face has some flake arrises, and some compression rings from the flake removal process. There's an impact site near the dorsal face, too. The ventral surface has some compression ripples.
A large semi-oval primary flake. The cortex makes up the entire ventral face, and is a smooth light grey with some indents and a dark black square in the centre. The exposed dorsal surface is a dark grey with some tiny white speckles and a very fine grain. There's a point of imapct site on the distal end, and a flake removal scar on the dorsal surface that cuts off abruptly. A compression ring extends just below the straight edge, and a few more ripples appear near the proximal end.
A medium sized thin semicircular tertiary flake. Some use wear present along the distal end. The belonging is a medium grey with some thin white streaks along both surfaces and a very fine grain. On the dorsal surface near the centre of the right edge there's a small compression ring with some compression ripples reaching inwards towards the centre. The ventral surface has a half rounded ridge.
A medium sized semi-circular secondary flake. The belonging is a desaturated light beige with some darker grey scarring, and a very fine smooth grain. A small patch of smooth light grey cortex is present along the distal end, along with the remnants of a striking platform. The dorsal surface has some flake arrises, flake scarring, and some negative scarring along the upper right distal edge. The ventral surface has a single ridge, some flake scarring and one smalll erailleur scar. There's a small dark grey patch on the left proximal edge.
A large secondary flake, it's thicker at the distal end before taper and thinning off at the proximal end. The belonging is a light grey with a beige tinge and has some light grey, smooth cortex present along the thicker end of the base. Some dark brown tiny spots along the proximal ventral surface. The presence of a striking platform with compression ripples, and some flake scars are present along the distal end of the dorsal surface. A bulb of percussion is also visible on the ventral surface.
A medium triangular and thin slate knife, unifacially bevelled. The belonging is light grey with some varying shades of grey patches, and a very fine grain. Some recently exposed surfaces are a medium grey from recent scarring. The ventral surface has been smoothed out, some light surface scarring is still visible from being sanded down, the dorsal surface is flat but textured by the natural grainage.
A large projectile point with a triangular laceolated body, a biconvexed cross section, and a contracting stem with a wide rounded convexed base. The belonging is dark grey with a few tiny white speckles, and a fine grain. Some use wear is present along the excurvated edges, and some flake scarring is also visible and appear to be parallel. There are some compression rings and ripples along the dorsal surface.
A medium sized biface with a lanceolate pointed edge and a biconvexed cross section and serrated edges. This belonging is a medium grey with a very fine nearly smooth grain. The distal point has been glued back into place from a previous pre-collection break; it sports a semi-fine unnotched point. The proximal portion is missing, but an attempt to reattach the end with glue has been previously made, likely also pre-collection.
A large lanceolate shaped biface with a plano-convexed cross section and a single semi-fine point. The belonging is a medium grey with a beige hue, and a very fine almost smooth grain. This biface has bilateral retouched edges, excurvated blade edge, and some unnotched points. Some flake scarring present along both dorsal and ventral surface. The proximal end is missing, and the original stem type remains unknown.
A narrow yet large biface with a lanceolate pointed body, two pointed bases, and serrated edges. The belonging is an opaque dark grey with small reflective particles, and a very fine grain. There are two tiny white mineral patches on the ventral surface. The points are unnotched, and there is some use wear present along the edges. Some flake ridges are present along the centre of the body on both dorsal and ventral surface.
