Fragment; secondary; small; medium grained; grey
Hafted axe head. Polished surface with hafting at about 1/3 length. Two notches on both sides of the haft. Very dark green colour.
Medallion/Nacklace made with seeds, nuts and beans. The base is made with fishing line and metal, and the beads are made from assorted beans and nuts.
Leather bolo tie with two wooden beads on the ends of the leather strip, and a wooden clasp/slide connecting the two ends. The clasp/slide is carved into the shape of an animal head, maybe a fox/coyote. The wood has been polished.
Deer hoof rattle. A rectangular strip of flexible leather with a tie, perforated along the bottom edge the thin strips of leather looped through. There are deer hoofs at the end of each strip of leather.
Large rectangular Cedar slat basket with red cherry bark decorations and a lid. Cedar has darkened significantly. The decorations have also chipped off significantly. There is white and black residue on the lid. The inside of the basket has paper residue adhered to the base. There is also green spots where metal had oxidized inside the basket. The rim on the exterior of the base is heavily damaged.
silver with some color deterioration, purple silk ribbon. memorial cross with arms slightly flared at the ends with a wreath of laurel leaves appearing between the arms of the cross. On the face, the Royal Cypher appears In the center of a Greek cross superimposed on the main cross, with the royal crown at the end of the upper arm and maple leaves on the three remaining arms. The reverse is plain with 'K. 654 Rfn. W.J.J. WILLIAMS' written in 2 lines(The service number, substantive rank at time of death, initials and surname of the person being commemorated are engraved on two lines in the center). There is also a sterling mark on the lower arm.
Yellowish six pointed star. Has a central design of the Royal and Imperial cypher, surmounted by a crown. The cypher is surrounded bya circle containing the words ' The 1939-45 Star'.The ribbon consists of 3 equal stripes: dark blue, red, and light blue
A circular silver medal, One side has the crowned coinage effigy of King George VI, facing left, surrounded by GEORGIVS VI D : BR : OMN : REX ET INDIAE IMP :. The Reverse shows a lion standing on the body of a double headed dragon. The dragons heads are those of an eagle. At the top , right center are the dates 1939/1945 in two lines. The ribbon consists of seven coloured stripes:red,dark blue, white, red, white, dark blue and red. The ribbon is also starting to unthread
Copper coloured Six-pointed star, has a central design of the royal and imperial cypher surrounded by a crown. The cypher is also surrounded by a circlet containing the words 'France and Germany Star'. The Ribbon consists of equal stripes of blue, white, red,white, blue. Colours represent the Union flag and those of France and the Netherlands.
