Implement with a long wooden handle holding a long, narrow, metal blade. The handle is slightly flared at the bottom and clubbed at the top. Through a hole in the clubbed portion, the metal blade has been inserted at a downward angle. It tapers to a sharp flair at the working end, and a cylinder of metal has been attached at the other to prevent the piece from slipping through the hole in the wood. A ring has been inserted into the flared end of the handle.

Couching in gold wrapped thread; embroidery in blue, yellow, light blue, white, purple and green.
A multi-coloured fiesta shawl made with a base yellow-white cotton fibre. The shawl contains two borders of embroidered animals, men, and men on horseback wearing triangular hats with crosses. Below the animals in the border is a broad stripe of multi-coloured, machine-stitched embroidery patterns. Both ends of the shawl have been finished with multi-coloured acrylic pom-poms. The animal imagery was drawn on the cloth with red pen and then these drawings were stitched by hand and with a sewing machine. The imagery on one end, from left-to-right: bird, dog, man with gun, animal, animal with antlers, animal, bird with elaborate feathers, bird, horse, man on horse with hat. The imagery from the other end, from left-to-right: text "Fin", man with hat, animal, bird with elaborate feathers, bird, dog, animal with antlers, dog, horse, man on horse with hat.

The figure is wearing a grey-white hat, and a grey-white shawl that has been secured with a metal, light yellow straight pin. She is also wearing a green shirt, a brown apron with a pocket, and a long pink skirt.

Bottom of print covered in red splattered pattern. Inscription at bottom in pencil: "A/P #1" with title and artist name. Back of print is plain, light grey coloured.
Lithograph print; black ground, with side stripe of green and top and bottom stripes in white and red. Central image is of a raven with only its head, wings and tail feathers(?) showing. The earth is portrayed as a blue-green ball off to the right of its head, and the raven appears to have just thrown up a fiery cloud (sun?). Inscription along bottom in pencil shows title and signature and "Varied edit 4/10." Back is plain, off-white paper.
