Embroidered Textile2833/9

Long textile of woven cream-coloured cotton with red, black, blue and green embroidered designs. Made up of two panels with vertical bands of red, green and purple along one side and identical designs that are joined together with a centre seam of black handstitches. The rows of smaller embroidered motifs, which include birds and horses, change orientation from the middle section, of larger black emblematic designs, becoming upside down from each other.

Children's drawing on legal size off-white paper. Drawing consisting of a river flowing horizontally, with two human bodies floating in the water. A red line, indicating a road, leads from the river to the right side of the composition, where a tree and three figures can be seen. There is a figure aiming a gun at this group of three. Across the lower part of the drawing is a house, a plant, another human figure, and a chicken eating corn. There is an inscription at the top of the drawing: "Asignatura estudios sociales tema dibujo del rio lempa Maria."

Laminated children's drawing consisting of a piece of beige legal paper mounted on a piece of blue construction paper. An inscription in pink crayon reads "Valtasar AFas Valtasar" in the upper left of the composition. To the right of this inscription is a multicoloured helicopter hovering over an elevated house. There is a human figure in the house. A large pink object and a brown and pink human figure have been drawn to the right of the house. To the left of the house, two green human figures have been drawn, and an inscription in blue ink reads "Valtasar boy of 8 years". At the bottom of the composition there is a small, pink human figure holding on to an animal. The bottom right-hand corner of the composition contains the word "pbtiso" in yellow crayon.

There is a rectangular piece of white paper on the back carrying an inscription in Spanish "Jorge Zaba - La Edad de 12 Anos de Refujia dos de Mesa grandes". On the front, the top third of the composition consists of a green tree, a vehicle with two pink and yellow human figures inside, a human figure carrying a green object on its head, and a small house that has been coloured pink, green, and brown. Below this are the words "Hortalisa - garden". The centre of the composition contains a rectangular representation of a garden with various vegetables. A pink human figure stands to the far left and is watering the plants in the garden. Directly below the garden are the words "Rabano - radishes". The bottom third of the page contains a large pink vehicle with the inscription "Los re pruducion de fujiades - car bringing provisions".

A woven rectangular bag with a strap. The design of the bag consists of a multi-coloured checkerboard pattern. Alternating rectangles have images of deer-like animals. The strap has been woven with two strips of alternating rectangles of dark green and light green.

A bowl-shaped, tightly woven basket bag with four braided straps. The base colour is the undyed dark yellow-white of the cabuya fibre. A woven geometric pattern in dark orange, brown, black, and grey has been applied to this base colour. The pattern consists of stepped rectangles, stripes, arrows, and striped arms coming off either side of solid horizontal bands of colour. The straps are vibrant in colour and consist of braided strands of pink, orange, yellow, purple, and the undyed yellow-white of the cabuya.

An oblong, multi-coloured woven basket bag with two braided straps. A pattern of thin horizontal stripes coloured green and blue-black have been applied to the base yellow-white colour of the undyed cabuya fibre. The last horizontal stripe on the bag has a light purple and green stripe running along the base. The underside of the bag displays no pattern. The straps of the bag are composed of dyed and braided strands that are the same colours as the bag.

An oblong, tightly woven basket bag with three braided straps that have been tied together at the ends. The base yellow-white colour of the undyed cabuya fibre has been decorated with four, multi-coloured, vertical columns of stacked lozenge shapes. These lozenge shapes are made up of diagonal lines and horizontal stripes. One of the straps has been braided with black, dark orange, and undyed strands of cabuya fibre. One of the straps has been braided with pink-orange and undyed strands of cabuya fibre. The third strap has been braided with pink-orange, light brown, and undyed strands of cabuya fibre.
