Colourful small woven textile with long fringes at each end. Made of strands of purple, orange, pink, green, yellow, red, white and turquoise yarn woven into solid stripes, embellished with a central panel of embroidered figures and motifs in the same colours. Large cross-hatches, stitched in white thread, reinforce the ends near the fringe.

Embroidered Cloth2833/1

Rectangular piece of woven off-white cloth with red and purple embroidered decoration. Made up of two panels, handstitched in red up a centre seam, joined so that the two identical embroidered designs create one central rectangular depiction of two figures surrounded by birds. There is a small embroidered red bird in each corner of the cloth and the top edge has a red handstitched zigzag hem.

Bowl, Enamelware45KI765/P9-79

AMEC Analysis: Comments: This artifact is a metal chamber pot with a marbled blue finish on the exterior and a white glaze on the interior. It is 12 inches in diameter with a flanged brim. It is somewhat mangled, but approximately 4 5/8 inches high. One large metal bowl enameled with white and blue. Object is misshapen from its original form which has caused a crack in one side and a minor break opposite the crack. Grey/brown accretions on interior and exterior. Metal is corroded where enamel is lost, especially the rim. Enamel is cracking. L. Penttila 3/1/2010
