Spherical container, open at one end, around which, there is woven a retainer or a guard. Has an arched handle with a braided-like pattern. Light weight and of a natural light colour.
Cylindrical basket with a square base. Basket woven of narrow strips of dark brown and natural-coloured palm leaf in a geometric, horizontal banded pattern. The bands are dark brown with designs of natural colour that include the following from top to bottom: fragmented tilted squares, sideways L-shapes, fragmented tilted squares, fragmented tilted squares, sideways L-shapes with an extra extension in the opposite direction at the other end, and fragmented tilted squares. Inside is natural colour. Around the top edge, there is a strip of natural coloured bamboo bound with a narrow strip of red-brown bamboo coiling.
Male and female seated beside one another on a round pedestal on a high rectangular base. Small figure is entwined in the hair of the male. Female holds lotus in hand on left; male holds trident in upper arm to left. Both wear conical head pieces.
Four strands of large and small trade beads, most of which are red. One strand has alternating beads of black with red.
Male figure of Vishnu holding a conch and discus. Elaborate incised pedestal. Figure has a very high cone-shaped headdress.
Seated deity(?) figure. Has peacock feather-like headpiece with red residue on face and headpiece. Bar runs from hand on right to hand on left at waist level. Inside round base is hard packed sand.
Multiple-dish lamp (dipa) with female figure (Lakshmi) riding an elephant and holding a pot above her head. Loops on pot, lamp bowls, and elephant would once have hung with small ornaments.
Female figure standing on a lotus base. Arm on left hangs down with palm outward; arm on right bent at the elbow and protruding forward. Hand cupped in such a way as to suggest it may have held some object. Wears arm bands, bracelets, and necklaces. Earrings are round and flat with a circle design stamped on them. Skirt has incised lines indicating drapery. Casting sprue on breast on the right. Dark red brown residue over front.
Plaited cedar bark base with warp pieces split four ways on sides; sides are of both plait weaving and openwork with cross plaiting. No coloured or added decoration; fibre loop through rim.
A plain long thin handle which tapers to the diamond-shaped finial. Half-way up the handle, there are two horizontal rings carved. Eleven long teeth fan outward radially. Twisted fibre cord is coiled around the middle.
