HeaddressA9354

Mask made from cut out planks of wood formed in a triangular-like shape with flat sides, a thin adjoining nose piece and a rectangular shaped piece of wood at the back. Detailed in blue and red Northwest Coast stylized forms is a wolf with ovoid shaped nostrils, bared teeth and large eyes. The mouth and eyes are inlaid with pieces of mirrored glass as well as other small sections. The nose is detailed with a blue crown-like shape. Protruding from the top edge of the headdress are numerous thin sections of baleen creating a fringe. The inside has two thin wooden strips attached to two larger bars to create a frame for the head. Covering the frame is a piece of cotton fabric. Fibre ties hang from the bottom edge. (Similar to A9355).

The main design consists of a four petal flower shape from the centre bottom up the sides with an orange and a dark brown outline on a natural coloured background. A coiled circular basket with sides that flare slightly. The flat sides and bottom are natural coloured with a brown and orange design made of two people opposite one another along with two other geometrical designs opposite one another. The rim has a design which consists of orange and natural coloured crosses dark brown middles on a dark brown background. There is a central circular coil row at the bottom of the basket with the same design as the rim.

A shallow coiled circular basket with straight sides. The bottom main design consists of a four petal flower design outlined in dark brown. Between each "petal" is a line made of orange and dark brown. Near the centre, there is a coil that matches the rim. The sides have a design that consists of a natural colour with an occasional dark brown vertical stripe on the coiled layer. The rim has a pattern of natural coloured checkered diamond shapes along a dark brown background.
