Plain envelope with written title on the front (part a). There is another piece of paper folded in half with an 'x' through hand-written characters on one side.

Print titled "Cats take calligraphy lessons." Classroom scene with many cats, wearing human clothing, writing calligraphy with brushes and ink. Colours are blue, green, orange, yellow and red. Black Japanese characters appear in columns across the top of the image, and also within the image. There is also a row of characters along the top edge, outside the border.

Two rectangular pieces of card stock printed with brown characters in blocks of text (parts a and c). Parts a and c are each enclosed in folded, large pieces of rectangular paper with brown and black characters printed on the front (parts b and d). Covering has titles in Japanese meaning "Houses of Japan", subject matter used in designing serviettes. Inside brochure gives details of designer and techniques used. Designer is Taizo Minagawa. Houses used in the design were famous for continuing cultural material.

Four figures with Mount Fuji in background. Kabuki actors, three in patterned kimonos, one in black and grey. Print has three panels, held together with very light, white, adhesive tape on back. Colours are blue, pink, purple, yellow, and black. Japanese characters and symbols at the bottom of all three panels.

Print with two women holding a long light blue and dark blue banded shawl. The woman on the left side is bending forward with her head turned down toward the left side. She is wearing clothing that has an alternating pink-beige bird, flower, and butterfly pattern. The woman on the right side is standing holding an open folding fan in her right hand with her face turned down toward the left side. Cylindrical yellow containers are stacked in a triangular formation behind them. The background is grey with white flowers along the darker top part. Along each left side, there is a circular red seal, two circular black seals, and black characters. Made of two vertically rectangular prints, adhered to a horizontally rectangular paper mount.

Prints wit two fighting men. The man on the right side is holding down a very large rat with his right foot. The man on the left side appears to be sitting, with his hands clasped together as he looks to the right. There is a red object next to his mouth; he is wearing light brown clothing. The man on the right side has a club in his upraised right hand, a sword in his outward stretched left hand, and is facing down to the left side looking at the rat. He is wearing clothing that has a red brown and brown pattern on a black background with turquoise sleeves. The background is grey. Each lower outer corner has a circular red seal with black writing near it. The print is in two vertically rectangular pieces, adhered to horizontally rectangular paper.

Single male figure under a cherry tree. Fence in background. Colours are brown, yellow, blue, pink, and black. Japanese characters in black on bottom right corner, three circular symbols in bottom left corner. Label on reverse side, "Kunyoshi 85 years old". Other label difficult to make out.

Bundle of plain white inner bark strips; tied together with twine. Paper tag with blue and red characters printed on it is attached.
