Cloth folded to look like a small blue jacket. Around the neck and centre opening is a black band with white symbols. On the upper front are knotted orange and white thread. On the upper back is a circular white crest. Below the crest are two white origami cranes. Around the lower front and back is a border of thin white symbols. The inside has white cotton lining with large blue symbols.

Center circular panel of bowl has three cranes in water an flowers. Smaller panels on the side are lobed and have human figures and landscape designs. Floral and arabesque designs decorated the whole of the bowl. All in polychrome on a green ground. Wooden stand.

Long wooden knife that tapers to a sharp pointed end. A rice plant and a duck in flight are designs that have been carved on the shaft of the knife. A long silk tassel and netsuke are attached at the end. The tassel attaches to the knife through a hole at the end and wraps around the handle of the knife along with a piece of olive green silk fabric.
