Vase3099/7

Dark green jug-shaped stoneware vase with lugs for handles. Round top is attached to larger rectangular body with lipped base. Xs halved by a horizontal line circle the rim. Curved lines carved around the top of each side meet vertical lines that extend to the base. Maker's mark under left lug.

Tankard3099/6

Black and brown stein, or tankard. Outside is black speckled with brown, inside is brown streaked with black. Stein has a wide mouth and lipped rim. Round body is straight except for a bulge near the base. A wide concave handle is attached to one side. Maker's mark stamped on back next to handle.

Square black and brown stoneware lidded box. Two raised lines circle box at the base and under rim. Lid has four sections meeting at a slight point in the centre. Each section has scored lines facing different directions.

Winged Vase3099/3

Stoneware vase with two side lobes or 'wings.' The wings have rounded bodies tapering to flat edges that are pointed at the top corners, and then curve down to meet round flat pedestals. The two wings are attached to a bumpy diamond shaped core. The inside of the hollow core is shaped like an irregular tube. Stylised signature on base.

Bottle3099/2

Large, round, stoneware bottle with flared lip and small round mouth, with a hanging loop on either side of mouth. Ribbing around the front edges is a pebbly brown colour. Discs of green tinged with brown decorate front and back. A braided rope is attached to the loops to form a handle.

Double polychrome spout bottle with bridge handle, undecorated base and polished surface. Painted deity design with lenticular eyes, rectangular mouth, mustache, beard, sideburns and two proliferous heads on cape. Anthropomorphic figure holding a stick with right hand and wearing a black band at his waist. Band on lower bottle body of ten frontal faces and "x" marks between them. Dark red-brown, black, brown, white and grey paint; red-brown ground. Well preserved.

Part of wooden staff with rectangular shape, flattened sides, carved figures on one side and two male heads. Traces of orange paint. Incomplete and broken. Part a is a rectangular body fragment with five profile dogs on one side and s shallow rectangular surface on the other side (for attaching to staff). Edges are in high relief. Applied male face is wearing an ear spool on his right ear and a semi oval headdress. Incised eyes. Incomplete and broken. Part b is a male figure with incised eyes. wearing an ear spool on his left ear and a semi oval headdress. Incomplete and broken.
