Medium stone mortar.* Stone mortar returned from Grant County Public Utility District, Wanapum Dam Heritage Center on January 25, 1995. These materials were originally sent to Grant County PUD for future exchange (see Borrower's Agreement - 1966), but the exchange papers were never drawn up. Since this material was only loaned, not deaccessioned, the Grant County PUD returned it to the Burke. (L. Phillips, 1/26/95). Broken stone implement, one side polished. Locality North bank of Chisholm Bay, Government Canal Locks, Ballard. Remarks: Excavated on old camp site just inside the bay.* 12/08/1993 - no apparent modifications. *Information is from the original accession ledger.
1 edge is straight, 1 is slightly convex, basal edge is broken; triangular.
Tan quartzite cobble, oval in plan view, is unifacially flaked on either pole.
Grey pebble, unifacially flaked around ~ 90% of perimeter.
