Brown, steep dorsal face retouch alone lateral edge.
One brown chert, unifacially flaked, thumbnail scraper. Artifact labeled "45KI-5, Accs 18/32." Accs 18 refers to a numbering system assigned in the Archaeology Laboratory of the UW Anthropology Department, not the Burke Museum. SKH 2/1/96

Black obsidian side-notched point with a flat base. M. Christopher 10/23/1998. Dr. Dennis Jenkins, University of Oregon, sent this specimen to Northwest Research Obsidian Studies Laboratory, Corvalis, OR for analysis (on loan 11/30/98 - 4/9/99). A portion of this specimen was removed for obsidian hydration. The source of raw material was determined to be Beatys Butte. Northwest Research Obsidian Lab placed a paper tag in the specimen bag with the following information: [Lab Contract #] BO-98-91 [Catalog #1989-57/35-M-] 103 [Collection Name] Bergen [Analysis] Specimen No: 46 [Source Location] Beatys Butte See also the following report from Northwest Research Obsidian Studies Lab for more detailed analytical data: Skinner, Craig E. and Jennifer J.
