Stock piece of jade.* Fide donor GTE: Jade cut boulder or stock piece dug up on an old village site on the western shore of the Frazer River [sic], about ten miles north of Lytton, British Columbia. It shows cutting grooves and broken ridges where sections have been cut and wedged off for implements. Chipped on side with some residue. Adze blade blank returned from Grant County Public Utility District, Wanapum Dam Heritage Center on January 25, 1995. These materials were originally sent to Grant County PUD for future exchange (see Borrower's Agreement - 1966), but the exchange papers were never drawn up. Grooved around center, pecked on one end. Too heavy for scale (+2100g).

Modified bone that is broken in 3 places and glued together. One end is ground and has parallel cut marks. There is a white adhering matrix on the bone. 11/02/98 D. Bradley.
