Glass case for a standing doll with a glass base (part b) and glass box (part c) that sits on top of part b. On the glass base is a silver plaque which is inscribed: "Presented by Korean Consul General August 1985".
Large, rectangular shaped moose hide, stretched and tide to a wooden frame. There are traces of fur along the edges where numerous holes have been cut for the rope to pass through. The corners of the frame are bound together by rope.
Tall pole with carved and painted figures. Figures from top to bottom are: the harpooner, with a whale's dorsal fin in each hand; the second-ranked man in the whaling crew, who holds a harpoon; the shaman, who wears a frontlet and holds a rattle and a wand (and on his tongue is painted the head of a lightning serpent); Puk-ubs (whaler returned from drowing); and a grey whale, held up by Puk-ubs. The eyes and teeth on the shaman's face are in bronze.
Round, square hole in centre, outer rim on both sides, inner rim on reverse only, 2 characters on obverse. Wu zhu right-left in seal script Chinese characters, rim inside right on obverse.
Skin belt detached into four pieces (parts a-d) with a thin, two strand tie and a beaded geometric design in white, black, red, green and yellow. Underside is undecorated.
