Kkokdu (꼭두) or wooden figure of an adolescent. Carved from wood and painted. Figure wears a long green robe with long orange sleeves, which are held together at waist, and painted yellow ties at their waist. Painted black features and black hair, which is tied back in a long braid that extends down the back. The top of the head is flat. The figure wears orange pants, black shoes, and is standing on a red oval-shaped platform. Mounted on a wood dowel and base.
Kkokdu (꼭두) or wooden figure of a married woman. Carved from wood and painted. Woman stands with her left hand on her hip, and right arm in front of her upper body. She wears a long red skirt with pink hem with scalloped white and black, and a yellow with red detailing top. Her hair is tied back in a looped bun, with a large pink arrow/pin through it. Mounted on a wood dowel and base.
Pair of matching wooden phoenix figures or kkokdu (꼭두), carved and painted. Each depicts a phoenix from the neck upwards. One phoenix is dark blue with a peach face (part a), and the other (part b) is peach with a dark blue face. Extending from each head are a large red, yellow, green and dark blue comb and red wattle. A small hole is drilled horizontally through the beak. The eyes are almond-shaped, with a red iris. Mounted on a two-tiered wood base.
Horizontal dragon board or kkokdu (꼭두) composed of three pieces of wood. The design is of two intertwined dragons, one green and one yellow, facing opposite directions, with their serpent-like bodies wrapped around one another. Each dragon is painted to have scales down its body, a black ridge down its back, and dots on its face. Each dragon holds a red ball in its mouth. There is a small square notch cutout beneath each dragon's head to mount to semicircular face boards. A single hole is drilled down the centre of the piece to mount a wooden figure or Kkokdu.
Pair of matching dragon face end boards or kkokdu (꼭두). Semi-circular wood panels, each with one side carved and painted. The central design is a yellow cat-like dragon with a black nose and eyebrows, blue and red almond-shaped eyes, long blue whiskers, and an open mouth with a small blue fish in its teeth. Below the dragon's head are two black paws with three clawed digits, and above is a tricolour Taegeuk symbol. The outer arch is painted with a thick red border.
A pencil drawing on a light beige bookmark. The front-side of the bookmark is a horizontally oriented, hand-drawn image of a sea lion(?) in profile. The sea lion is outlined in pencil with the interior remaining light beige. The eye is surrounded by a diamond-shaped patch; a wide tower-shape is drawn on the snout between the eye and the nose. The mouth is lined with two canine teeth and rounded molars; to the right of the mouth is a crescent-shape. The front flipper extends from the base of the head to the midsection; two curving lines embellish the flipper. A small oval is drawn towards the hind flipper on the underbelly. The hind flipper is decorated with three interconnected tower-shapes forming grooves on the flipper. The reverse-side of the bookmark is vertically oriented, and is machine-printed in black ink. At the top is the bookstore's name, "Bell's Books;" below, lines of text describe the store's specialties. Extending from the centre to the bottom of the bookmark, is an image of three daisy-like flowers. The bookstore's commercial information is printed at the very bottom.

At the top are two heavily shaded wave-like shapes representing the waterline(?). Above the water is the top section of a boat stern; this section is coloured with light grey pencil, an unshaded band crosses the top right corner of the stern and a unshaded circle is drawn in the top right corner. Below the waterline is the remainder of the stern with a rudder; the stern(?) is shaded in with pencil except for the left edge which has an unshaded border, the rudder is unshaded, and a small unshaded circle is positioned above the rudder. Below is a large harpoon on a frayed rope. The border of the harpoon is unshaded, the interior is coloured light grey, and a polka dot covered shaft protrudes from the centre of the harpoon. Extending from the bottom right corner of the bookmark, and surrounding the harpoon, are long strands of sea kelp. At the very bottom of the drawing is the profile view of a human-like being's head. The human-like being's face is lightly shaded with pencil, the eyebrow ridge is coloured dark grey, and a rope-like headpiece sits atop of the being's hair. The reverse-side of the bookmark is machine-printed in black ink. At the top, lines of text, describing the benefits and use of sweet grass, are printed. Below, the company name, "Sweet Grass," logo and phone numbers are printed.

At the top of the bookmark, two small circles are cut from the paper. The killer whale's head is decorated with a green eye patch within which is a red diamond, a red and white ovoid, and the whale's eye. Red teeth line the mouth of the killer whale. The dorsal fin extends from the killer whale's head up towards the left circle cutout; it is decorated with a red and black ovoid, a red arch, and a black and white tower-shape. Air from the killer whale's blowhole, drawn as green dashes, streams in an arch around the dorsal fin to the right edge of the bookmark. Beneath the head, the pectoral fin is decorated with a white oval and a red cross. The body of the whale is a thin black oblong-shape with three white ovals. At the end of the body is the whale's tail outlined in black and decorated with red and black lines and ovals. The reverse-side of the bookmark is a machine printed image of a cartoon horse holding two books. Above the horse are the words "MAKE FRIENDS WITH BOOKS," in orange-red print. The artist appears to have drawn a skull and crossbones on the horse's hat, an eye patch over it's left eye, an anchor on the right arm, and a hook on it's left hoof.

The background of the drawing is decorated with criss-crossing assemblages of purple line patterns in varying thicknesses. In the forefront, a human skull is outlined in purple ink; the interior of the skull is white. The nasal and eye cavities of the skull are filled in with small crisscrossing assemblages of purple line patterns. An underlying dorsal fin extends from the top of the skull; a blowhole is drawn on the left side of the skull. Extending outwards from the upper jaw of the skull are two fins. The left fin is positioned just below the skull and is decorated with two ovoids. The right fin, drawn at the end of an appendage with a line pattern decorating the interior, is embellished by two creatures. The reverse-side of the drawing is blank.

The whale's eye is enclosed by a diamond, and an oval with a crisscross pattern. Air exits from a blowhole. The outline of the whale's body is heavily shaded in with pencil; drawn in the open interior space of the whale's body are two ovals with two intersecting lines and two small creatures. A small dorsal fin is drawn on the whale's lower back. The pectoral fin is decorated with four open circles. The whale's tail is a wide U-shape and is decorated with abstract designs and a crisscross pattern. The reverse-side of the bookmark is machine-printed in blue ink. The bookstore's logo, comprised of the store's name, "The Book Guild of Portsmouth," an image of sunrays, a building and a sail boat, is at the top of the bookmark. Their commercial information is printed below.
