Painted oval-shaped gable board with design carved in shallow relief. The negative space is filled with white or red pigment, and the raised design is black. The top of the board has a stylized face, with two carved-out spaces for eyes. The back is undecorated, has a raised area at the centre, and has mounting hardware at top.
Female ancestral figure of wood with exposed pointed breasts and female genitalia. Figure stands with arms down at side, and feet that are part of a rounded base. There is twisted fibre cord through her septum, ear holes, around neck and around the waist with longer fringe. The eyes are inset cowrie(?) shells. The figure has a second face on the back of the head which is very to the front. There is a small white square painted on the base.
Large dance mask (part a). The wooden mask is oval-shaped, and painted black. Rectangular holes are cut for both the eyes and mouth. Surrounding the mask is a large amount of plant material simulating hair, which is attached to both the mask and wooden frame. The mask is adorned with a headdress consisting of a red woven band, three rows of small circular shells, a single row of cone shells, the remnants of a row of red feathers, and topped with rows of black feathers. A wide strap of plant fibre extends back around the head, and is decorated by four shells on each end. A rattan frame extends down to each side of the mask, with woven fibre and strings of shells attached. Three similar dance wands (parts b-d) of red feathers and bird skin, one of which is still mounted on a wooden handle (part b). An ornament (part e), composed of three pieces that are tied together - a bundle of black feathers, a wrapped stick with a piece of bone, feathers and metal, and another pointed stick piercing a ball-like decoration.
Round hat with metal applique. Sideband has four groups of embroidered flowers. Linear metal applique with coin-like ends hang past brim and alternates with beads vertically along sideband. Cone-shaped metal applique pieces are attached horizontally at the sideband-crown seam. Linear metal applique with engraved details alternate with vertical rows of multicoloured beads around crown. Centre of crown features tiered metal piece with inset plastic jewel. Back flap features geometric and floral embroidery ending in low point with two rows of alternating beads, and coin-like metal pieces on bottom corners.
Oblong stone axe head or chisel. One end is rounded, and the opposite tapers in to a sharp edge.
Large mask of wood. The eyes are inlaid cowrie shells with painted designs extending out from a star-like centre. Large protruding nose has pig tusks extending out of each nostril, with a string of bird feathers attached on both sides. The forehead, nostrils and chin are decorated with red clay inlaid with small white shells. Long black cassowary feathers extend out of the top of the head. The jaw is lined with a fringe of plant fibre. The face is painted with concentric curved lines extending out from the eyes, and the ears are painted with stripes and have many holes in a vertical line. The back of the mask is painted black.
Short jacket with long sleeves. Exterior is black cotton with wide stripes of star motif embroidery on upper arms and wrists, edged by red and cobalt blue cotton stripes. The same stripes edge the open front seams. A rectangular flap hangs down the back, attached at neck. Dense embroidery in black, white and light yellow ‘X’ shapes cover the surface. The interior of the jacket and bottom hem are lined with dark blue denim.
Embroidered cloth. Square fabric is made of dark grey denim-like material, with bright embroidery. Two evenly spaced lines of embroidery, which follow the edges of the piece, creates a double-square design. The lines are composed of a solid red, bordered by different coloured sections of zigzags. Multicoloured flower and foliage motifs between the squares, and similar in opposite interior corners. Top of piece has four loops for hanging.
Embroidered cloth. Square cloth made of denim and edged in red and tan coloured cotton. The denim is embroidered with multi-point star designs in orange, dark red and white, with touches of green. Several tassels in similar colours hang from one corner of the cloth. Each tassel topped with a number of small plastic breads. An adjacent corner holds a similar long thin tassel.
Painted clay whistle in the form of pig's head. There is a large blowhole in the back of the pig's head, and the eyes form holes for the whistle as well. The face is painted red, the ears greyish, and the back and base of the head are yellow. Designs are painted overtop in black. The letters 'EO' engraved on the base.
