Loca Mask2946/20

Small mask with a pink face and curved horns. There are two large eyes with irises that fade from blue to white. The edges of the slits above the eyeballs are medium-blue. There is a thick bulge across the bridge of the nose. The curves of the cheeks and chin are dark pink. There is a flat, curved ear on either side of the face. The horns are black on the outside edge, orange on the inside edge and yellow down the central ridge. The orange portion is decorated with short, diagonal, black and white lines. There are five white teeth on the underside of the protruding lip. The back of the mask is red-brown and the back of the horns is yellow. Fabric elastic and a piece of thick, white string have been looped through small holes on both sides and the top of the mask on the back.

Loca Mask2946/19

Small mask with a pink face and curved black and brown horns. The eyes have blue irises which fade to flesh-colour near the black pupils. There is a large horizontal bulge over the bridge of the nose. The brows and cheeks are rounded and raised. Thick, black, eyebrows are painted above each eye in a shallow arch. The red mouth has a protruding upper lip with three short white teeth framed by a pair of long curled fangs. The horns have brown edges and are painted black down the central ridge. There is white elastic tied on at the back, knotted through two small holes on either side of the face.

Devil Mask2946/18

Blue, red and gold devil mask with curved horns. There are two large blue eyes, rimmed with gold chain-line-trim and, on the outside, a thick blue fringe. The eyebrows are large, rust coloured, and decorated across the middle with a line of glitter and red beads. The horns are blue at the base, gold in the middle and red-orange at the tips. The sequins have been painted to match their sections on the horns. Six blue, mirrored teeth hang from the bottom of the protruding upper lip. There is an orange circle over the chin. The back edges of the mask have been lined with foam and elastic has been looped through small holes on the top and both sides of the mask on the back.

Bear Mask2946/16

Oso grande (large bear) mask made of painted tin, alpaca hair and plastic decorations. The mask has large round ears and a cap of short white-grey fur. The snout is black with six high ridges around the nostril and a golden plastic oval on the front. The open mouth is lined with white teeth along the top and has a wide red tongue. The bulging yellow eyes have pink tinsel around the edges, and two large flaps with pink sequins around the edges. Both ears have an orange centre with wavy black lines and spiked green edges. One has a pink and silver garland around the outside. Purple feathers have been added as ear fur. The inside of the mask is white with a pattern of small blue boxes and is lined with foam around the edge. There is a white sticker on the inside.

Devil Mask2946/14

Large black devil mask with four orange-red tall curving horns, four smaller horns and a dragon at the top. The bulging eyes have protruding black pupils, pink irises and spiky green eyelashes. The bulbous eyebrows are furrowed and the mouth is curved in a snarl with three pointed teeth framed by a pair of crossed fangs. The ears are flame-shaped, black at the centre, fading to orange, yellow and white near the edges. Grooves in the ears are decorated with golden glitter. Atop the forehead are four medium-sized flat horns fading from black at the base to yellow at the tips. The two large, outside horns have a deep curve. The two large inner horns are decorated with a concentric white and gold diamond pattern on the front. Red tinsel is wrapped up the two large inner horns and across to the outside horns. The dragon curves up from the middle of the head. It has short orange arms and flame-like orange wings. The mouth is open with a row of pointed teeth at the top and a pronged tongue. Pink-tipped green ears curve around the face from above the blue eyes to the chin. The groves in the wings and ears are decorated with golden glitter. The back of the wings are white. Coarse yellow hair has been attached with yellow cloth to the back of the mask.

Wall Hanging2951/1

Painted hide. The scene shows two humans centrally located, with a seated woman and a standing man, who is addressing a group of rabbits and foxes with human bodies. All are dressed in traditional clothing. Behind the woman are two birds also with human bodies and similarly clothed. A border of red and blue diamond shapes surrounds the scene. Pencil guide lines are visible throughout the scene and border. The edges of the leather are cut with fringes. On the bottom right corner is an inscription “SIN-NAM-HIT-QUH”.

Large orange devil mask with four tall curving horns, four smaller flat horns and a dragon at the top. The bulging eyes have protruding black pupils and pink irises. Each eye has three spiked green eyelashes. The thick, bulbous eyebrows are furrowed. The snarling mouth has three pointed teeth, framed on either side by a pair of crossed fangs. There are large flame-like ears on either side, fading from black at the centre to orange, yellow, and white at the edges. Grooves in the ears and the dragon's wings, ears and arms are decorated with gold glitter. At the top of the forehead there are four medium-sized flat horns which fade from a dark brown-red at their bases to yellow at their tips. The two large outside horns have a deep curve. The two large inner horns have a concentric white and gold diamond pattern on the front. The dragon curves up from the middle of the head with short green arms and flame-like, yellow and brown wings; its open mouth has a row of pointed teeth at the top and a pronged tongue, and its pink-tipped blue ears curve around the face from the eyes to the chin. The back of the wings are a dark blue. Coarse orange hair has been attached with pink cloth to the back of the mask.

Devil King Mask2946/12

Devil king mask with a red face, golden crown, short twisting horns and a dragon at the top. The eyes bulge out on either side of the face and are decorated with large black pupils and pink and green striped lashes. The red bridge of the nose is decorated with silver chevrons. The mouth forms a snarl with its three silver teeth framed on either side by large golden fangs. There are three blue-trimmed golden horns on the forehead. The rubbery ears are shaped like flames and fade from dark blue near the centre to yellow at the edges. The horns have short, multi-coloured stripes decorated with silver and gold dots. The small green, dragon-like creature has golden teeth and fangs, pink ears, and geometric silver designs across the forehead and nose. The crown has green, half-sphere shaped projections on both sides. The inside of the crown is light blue and light pink.

Medium woven textile. Dark brown with fine bands in white, pink, orange, blue, green, and floral patterns at one edge. Thick, vertical brown stripe down the centre with multi-coloured, thin stripes on either side of the brown. There are zigzag, patterned vertical stripes near both edges.
