Tapa Cloth2947/20

Large tapa cloth with three rows of geometric designs in tan and dark brown against a medium-brown base. The patterns alternate between an hour-glass shape and a thick, diagonal tan line decorated with dark brown triangles. Rows are separated by a line of four pairs of elongated triangles.

Tapa Cloth2947/19

Rectangular tapa cloth with dark brown geometric designs on a tan base. Dark brown lines divide the cloth into a 4x6 grid. The designs in each row alternates between pinwheels and six-petal flowers with each square in the same column having the same pattern. There is a large brown area near one of the edges.

Tapa Cloth2947/18

Long, rectangular, mostly un-pigmented tapa cloth. One medium-brown column along the side with faint geometric patterns in tan. Beside the brown decoration is a brown partial hand print. There are patches of brown pigment on the un-pigmented area. The cloth’s edges are wavy and irregular.

Rectangular tapa cloth with geometric designs in black and tan on a medium-brown base. The cloth is divided by thick black lines into a 6x6 grid. The first, third and fifth rows alternate between a brown and black floral design against a tan background and a square decorated with an abstract triangle-based pattern. The second, fourth and sixth rows alternate between a star-like pattern and a brown square horizontally bisected by a black line. The cloth has an un-pigmented border with irregular edges.

Rectangular tapa cloth with geometric designs in black, dark brown and light brown against a medium-brown base. The tapa cloth is divided by dark brown lines into six columns. The design featured in the first, third, fourth and sixth columns depicts a diamond nestled between two X-shapes. Above and below the diamond design are dark brown and black triangles. The second and fifth columns are loosely based on a diagonal cross plan.

Rectangular tapa cloth with geometric designs in black, dark-brown and tan against a medium-brown base. The tapa cloth is divided by patterned lines into three rows. The top and bottom row feature abstracted floral-like designs with two brown and two black leaves. The middle row contains eight point stars outlined in dark brown. Four diamond-like shapes radiate out from the dark brown circle at each star’s centre. The medium-brown space around each of the stars and floral designs is decorated with a tan triangular pattern.

Whistle2946/90

Brown clay whistle with six figures playing instruments. The figures alternate between ones wearing brown, wide-rimmed hats and white coats with brown pockets with figures wearing white caps with brown geometric patterns and red coats with white pockets. All of the figures have dark brown eyes and wear dark brown shoes and maroon pants. The white patterning on the knees of the pants alternates between swag shapes and cross hatching. Two figures play brown pipes, the other four play flesh-coloured instruments including cymbals, a drum and a pipe. There are square holes in the back of all of the necks and a small circular hole in the base in one corner.

Whistle2946/89

Brown clay whistle with three figures playing instruments. The two outer figures wear white caps with brown tips and the central figure wears a brown hat with a wide brim. The figure on the left has a red coat with white pockets and plays a long triangular brown pipe. The figure in the centre wears a white coat with brown pockets and plays a flesh-coloured pipe. The figure on the right has a brown coat with white pockets and plays a short flesh-coloured pipe. All three figures have maroon pants and dark brown socks. They similarly all have brown skin, dark brown eyes and puffed cheeks. Each has a small square hole in the back of the neck and there is a small circular hole in the base.

Small, square, stone carving of a farm. Lining the two adjacent edges are eleven animals facing outwards. The other two edges have raised rectangles representative of buildings. They have sloped, ridged roofs and rectangular doors facing the empty central courtyard area of the sculpture. The bottom edges on all sides are decorated with linear designs.

Small, rectangular stone carving of a farm. There are five animals facing outwards along one edge. At the back there are three raised rectangles and two raised squares arranged in a U formation. The squares are positioned in the corners with the rectangular buildings along the three edges. The rectangles have sloped, ridged roof-like tops.
