The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

This is a hide band beaded with white, blue and yellow triangles. It was probably cut from something else. An old tag indicates it belonged to Sitting Bull.
Carved face in relief in dark and light green-colored stone; back flat. Edges of stone consciously left in their natural state. Condition excellent. Engraved on back are Eskimo letters, '1395-1080,' and artist's name (probably), 'Onatago.'
The object is a large spoon (top in photograph) carved from a single piece of wood. Inside the bowl of the spoon in black and red is a painting of a wolf crest that includes a wolf with a large tail. The spoon is in good and stable condition. On the handle, at the top, there are two holes; on the body and legs of the wolf, there are small black pigment losses. See also 05.588.7331.
