Painting2962/1

Painting depicting a tent treatment centre and medical operations. The scene is of a temporary outdoor cholera hospital made up of many small tents, metal sheds, and a large circular white tent in the centre of the image. People walk amongst the tents, many headed for the central structure called the “Centre Traitment Cholera". A Red Cross ambulance unloads a man and a crowd waits patiently. The majority of the people are smiling. In the background are several tall trees, shorter palm trees, a multitude of flowers, houses with people going about their daily activities, and a dark blue and purple sky.
