Black velvet, emabroidered apron, rectangular with two thin cotton strips for waist ties at top. On the black velvet panel are embroidered four lines of design, the first red and pink flowers with green foliage, then a stylized line of blue, pink and yellow flowers with swirling green and purple foliage, then a line of red and yellow roses with green foliage and rosebuds, and finally a blue and yellow zigzag pattern with a blue and red hanging tassel motif. Throughout the embroidery are scattered silver sequins with white glass beads. A black synthetic fringe has been sewn onto the bottom edge.

Abalone shell covered with basketry on the outside. The shell has been broken at one edge, and has an iridescent shine. Basketry has been applied around it, covering the entire piece. The basketry begins at the thick end of the shell, and works its way toward the flatter, more open portion. It has lines and colour blocks in colours of purple, yellow, orange, and black, with undyed grass interspersed.

Copper scraper with a handle made out of a large piece of triangular-shaped, cut bone. At the wide end a curved piece of copper has been attached with copper nails, projecting from the bone to create the scraping edge. A rectangular shaped piece of copper is also attached by two nails at the midpoint on one side. A hole is bored through the bone at the end. Ridges can be seen in the bone from the construction process.

Ulu type knife with a triangular steel blade with a rounded bottom sharpened to a fine edge. The blade’s bottom corners are sharp and the sides are unequal in length and curvature. The blade is embedded into a slit in a cylindrical piece of smooth bone and glued in place.

Black velvet embroidered vest. The front is covered by embroidered wildflowers in many sizes and colours including large red flowers near the bottom, and small orange, blue or pink sprays at the top, all surrounded by green foliage. Many of the flowers, leaves and vines are embellished with colourful sequins and beads. The vest front is open and has a V-neck, with two small closing snaps located beneath. The inside is lined with a black rayon-like fabric.

Seal skin scraper. Steel blade is triangular in shape, with a curved bottom edge and uplifted corner points. The handle is a curved piece of bone with a protruding point near the distal end, flattening at the proximal where the blade meets the bone. The two are attached with a large metal nail.

Clay "joni chomo" portrait pot. The mouth is small with straight walls, beneath which is a three-dimensional face with protruding nose, cheeks, chin and ears. The eyes are painted ovals with small pupils, topped by arching brows that meet above the nose. The mouth is an incised line, frowning, emphasized with paint. The ears and back of the head are painted brown. The face and body to the pot’s shoulder are covered in an intricate geometric pattern in brown and rust on a light yellow background. Below, the pot is decorated with thick lines in shades of orange, brown and light yellow. The bottom third of the pot is undecorated, orange in colour with large areas of black carbonization. The foot is small and round.

Model harpoon made of wood and tusk. A long thin wooden piece (part a) is topped by a small cube of tusk embedded in the wood. The tusk is ‘T’ shaped, and has a shallow hollow carved into its top. Just below, two hide thongs enter and exit the wood through small bored holes. A small piece of tusk protrudes from the wooden shaft at the top centre of the object. The accompanying piece (part b) is a thin needle shaped piece of tusk, slightly curved, tapered at the tip, with two holes bored through the top.

On the back of the hand and wrist are designs in moose hair tufting, dyed in a variety of colours and placed to make flowers and leaves. Around the wrist area and around the upper edge of the gloves are wide strips of fur. There is a long hide fringe along the outer edge of each and the inside of each glove is lined with a green cotton fabric from the opening to the wrist.
